November 2014, Faiella was removed from office after a failed and miserable 4 years in office.
December 2016, Cooper stated that "it's time to return the city council to the residents of Port St Lucie."

Councilman Christopher Cooper was instrumental in starting the Port St Lucie Oktoberfest along with the citys partner, The German American Club of The Treasure Coast. Check out this years 3 day event. Click on the photo for more information.
Councilman Christopher Cooper founded The Friends of The Port St Lucie Botanical Gardens. The Grand Opening of the Cities new Botanical Gardens was March 6, 2010. The gardens were built using Conservation Trust Fund money. No taxpayer dollars were used to construct this project. Click on the photo for more information.
